THE ALBANY CLUB QUIZ

Hedgehog's Blog
No.5
20 Feb 2007

It was a pleasant surprise to see quite a few new faces at the last quiz – 7 teams!
Quite a few of those were younger than our usual crowd as well.
Satans’ Bitches won the cash pot for the 3rd time in 4 quizzes, well done to them !

Those of you that live in Earlsdon will be aware of how acute parking is in the area.
A recent study has shown that most of these problems are caused by F*****G IDIOTS…..
Some drivers manage to take up 3 spaces with only 1 car ….B*****DS !
Others park right up to the corner of a junction so you can’t pull out without
sticking your nose into the oncoming traffic…W****RS !
Then there’s those that think it’s Ok to park their F******g  4x4’s or vans
half on the pavement, blocking pedestrians, and causing f******g mayhem
halfway down the High St. ..T****RS !
Seriously though, the cause of the problem is simple. Most houses in Earlsdon
are about 14 ft. wide. Unfortunately, the cars owned by the households,
often 2 or 3, add up to 30ft.
The solution? Simple. Just park wherever you feel like, every other f****r seems to.

Overheard in a local pub (names have been changed to hide identity) …

Crossman : Whelan, you look like a second hand car salesman.
Whelan : Crossman, you look like a Big Fat C***t !
Crossman : At least I know what I am!
Whelan : Yeh. A Big Fat C***t!!!
It’s good to see Chaucerian humour is alive in Earlsdon…..

Onto the question……

What sort of car do I drive?
1 - I don’t , I walk or get the bus everywhere
2 - A 1968 MORRIS MINOR Reg. No. POP 388G
3 - A  15 yr. old BMW with blacked out windows and a pumping sound system
