On March 5th The Albany Club take a diversion from their usual Friday night cover acts and present JAMA a 7 piece multi ethnic band performing all original material that covers Afro, Funk and Latin sounds..
The band is a highly professional collective that has spent 2009 writing, rehearsing and recording unique, fresh material for the debut album. Their dynamic, exciting live shows and festivals to date have been greeted with wide acclaim, and have built up a solid UK following. 2010 sees bright things ahead with the new album, “Change Your World”, featuring a highly danceable mix of 11 new songs, to be premiered at festivals and venues across the UK and Europe.
After their successful appearance at the Music Against Racism Festival last year the venue has been looking forward to their return. The Coventry public have an opportunity to hear a sneak preview of the album which will be presented live for the first time in only their second appearance in the city.
