ABOUT US

"have you heard............"

The Albany Club is totally committed to providing a wide range of social and entertainment services to all current and future members. Families are welcome and can come to the club knowing they will be in a safe, clean and fun place for adults and children to enjoy without worrying about digging deep into their pockets.

"So what" you might say, "there are a lot of other clubs that can offer that". Well you may be right but The Albany Club has its eyes on the future as well as the present. Some of the key policies supported/operated by the club;

a) Provision of outdoor comforts for smokers.
b) A Socially Responsible club respecting not only the members needs but also the expectations and/or concerns of the local community.
c) Child fun and child safe club
d) Low priced high quality beers wines and spirits, with comfortable safe surroundings for young and old alike.
e) A fully proactive club working together with local and national authorities such as the police, environment agency and local government to ensure the club maintains a positive reputation and image.

Significant investment in the future is about to commence with a major refurbishment programme starting with the lounge and foyer.

The design of the new lounge will be a very modern theme catering for all functions whether it be a rocking music night or a quiet comfortable glass or two of wine for family and friends. The new foyer will incorporate sliding folding doors to open out onto an al fresco patio suitable for a relaxing drink while watching the world go by, and catering for our smoking customers in the late evening when the garden closes.

We have a large function room suitable for many uses complete with audio & video facilities which is very rarely used during the week. Community groups, charities and organisations from all walks of life will benefit from the range of the services we can offer.

We are currently home to the weekly meetings of the Coventry Mummers and the local bowing society, and we also host the very poular Earlsdon Folk Club every fortnight.

The Fade to Grey Festival, a music and charity fundraising event including the Earlsdon Fun Run is held here every year.
