When it comes to delivering a high-energy Stax/Alantic-based show the Official Receivers have no equal.
Playing to packed houses everywhere the band have worked hard for their reputation as live performers. A string of prestigious appearances has won them a huge following. These shows have included heading Birmingham's New Year's Eve celebrations in front of 70,000 people in Centenary Square in 1994 & 95, work with Extra AM Radio, and appearances with legendary Soul performers.

Hardworking front man Lee [no, not that one....] is ably backed by the receivers formidable rhythm section topped off with one of the most sizzling brass sections around.
Together the band delivers an irrepressible party mood.

As the only Peter Kay Tribute in the country, not only does he look like him, and sound like him, but we're sure that many of you will wonder if it really is him!
Delivering an hour long show, Lee Lard's - PETER KAY EXPERIENCE offers a rare chance to experience the unique stand-up comedy of this exceptionally funny man and guest appearances from Brian Potter and Max of Phoenix nights in our very own Jocky Wilson Suite!
We're also having a night of free gambling with Las Vegas style tables. Try your hand at poker or blackjack, have a spin on the Wheel of Fortune or the Roulette table and win your first million dollars.

Enjoy the class cabaret sounds of the stunning new vocal talent Safanah accompanied by Darren Evans on piano throughout the evening.

In keeping with the club's committment to encourage homegrown talent the Albany Club is proud to present the excellent Merge - As a result of working hard with practices and performances and an appearance on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire radio this band have found their own unique style and sound which has been stunning audiences around the Coventry area. They won Warwickshire Colleges Battle of the Bands last month too. Get down and see them here and start the Bank Holiday weekend in style. Merge are a band to look out for in the future.

The captivating, fun, exciting spirit that came to be known as "Beatlemania" is alive again in the Beatlegs authentic and entertaining Beatles tribute band. These four lads have carefully and skillfully recreated the Beatles experience by not only performing all the great songs of the original four, but also by sporting the same suits, boots, mop-tops, musical instruments, and gear. The Beatlegs make it possible for music fans from every generation to experience the same thrilling rush felt by fans who were fortunate enough to attend an actual Beatles concert in the early sixties.
The Beatlegs certainly have a passion for music and will always enjoy playing the songs of the "Fab Four."However, what makes them unique among the hundreds of Beatles tribute bands today is their unwavering dedication to ensuring the utmost level of authenticity in their performances. Same energy. Same charisma. Same feeling.
Performing a song list packed with all the fun and lively tunes the Beatles played while touring. From the Cavern Club days in their hometown of Liverpool, to their last concert performance together at Candlestick Park in 1966-the Beatlegs concert is more than reminiscent of a Beatles concert, it's as close to the real thing as you can get.
